The Enova Maestro Toric is indicated for the primary implantation of a posterior chamber trifocal intraocular lens in adult patients with cataract or clear lens extraction who present with regular corneal astigmatism and seek spectacle independence across the full visual range.
Adult patients with regular corneal astigmatism who seek spectacle independence at distance, intermediate and near.
Axis alignment is central to the astigmatic outcome and must be planned pre-operatively.
Irregular or unstable corneal astigmatism, macular degeneration, significant corneal pathology, uncontrolled glaucoma, or pupil abnormalities.
Photopic and mesopic conditions, pupil size and patient expectations are judged case by case by the prescribing physician.
Every lens in the Enova family is built on the same proprietary hydrophobic acrylic. Glistening, the fluid microvacuoles that form inside the optic over the years and scatter incoming light, is the failure mode this material was designed to eliminate. In an in vitro study at the Intermountain Ocular Research Center, University of Utah, the material showed no glistening formation.
The Enova Maestro Toric is supplied preloaded in the Rotaryjet single-use injector. The rotary mechanism advances the lens through a 2.2mm incision with a single smooth rotation, no cartridge preparation, no lens handling, consistent delivery every time.
Inspect the preloaded injector. Confirm lens orientation and injector integrity before use.
Place the injector tip through the 2.2mm incision. Rotate smoothly, continuous motion, constant pressure.
Confirm haptic deployment in the capsular bag. Centre the optic and rotate to the planned cylinder axis. Standard aspiration to complete.
The Enova Maestro, Advanced Toric, and Monofocal GF3 share the same material and delivery platform. Select by indication.
