First Place, Gema Martinez Navarrete – Spain
Dr. Gema Martinez Navarrete received first place for her study titled "A novel bevacizumab delivery system using solid lipid nanoparticles for potential wet age-related macular degeneration treatment: An in vivo study." As she was unable to attend the ESCRS Congress in person, the prize was sent to her directly.
Second Place, Ahmet Kırgız – Türkiye

Ahmet Kırgız received second place for his study titled "Clinical outcomes of femtosecond laser-assisted corneal allogenic intrastromal ring segment (CAIRS) in the treatment of keratoconus." The award was presented by Dr. Lena Beckers during the VSY Booth Talk, where she also delivered a presentation titled “From Standard to Standout: Starting with Premium Care.”
Third Place, David Lockington – United Kingdom

David Lockington from the United Kingdom received third place for his study titled "Impact of temperature on ophthalmic viscosurgical devices and clinical implications: a pilot study." The award was presented by Dr. Christian Bach, Managing Director of VSY Biotechnology GmbH.
